Fabulous craft room

I love my own craft room—which doubles as a second guest room—but it looks nothing like this one. I love the crisp look of the white desk and punches of red. (My space is more pink and vintagy and girlie!) So pretty!

Christmas in Dallas

Sorry for the delay, but football and Thanksgiving took over! Christmas decorating is in full swing at my house, and I remembered these photos from Dallas as I was unpacking boxes. This is one of my favorite shoots ever. Love the bicycle filled with gifts!

My favorite room {this week}

Kate Spade's bathroom. Lime green (my favorite decor color) + zebra + white accents. Doesn't get much better. (And, hello? Black stripes on the shower curtain? Yes.)

Awnings

One day I'm going to have a house that is perfect for awnings. They'll be navy-striped to look good with my green front door and yellow flowers. Sweet.

So I'm cheating and posting a picture of my own living room. You won't find much neutral in my house. I can appreciate a pretty neutral room, sure, but it just isn't me. I prefer to live in Candyland.

Pretty monogrammed wreath

I love how simple this look is, and it would be so easy to re-create. Pick up a boxwood wreath {a square one would be nice too}, purchase a letter from a crafts or homes store, paint {if necessary}, attach it to the wreath, and hang. Next Christmas decorating project, please.

If that's too much work, you could always order one of these Spruce Alphabet Wreaths from Ballard. I have one, and it's my absolute fave.

What a fun look! I'm a fan of stripes on walls already, and I love this color combination!

Black walls? Yes!

Painting your walls black is a pretty dramatic look, but it can be pulled off with the right accessories and trim. Keep everything else crisp {and preferably white}, and use semi-gloss or high-gloss paint on the trim.
